The Quick Learn Series features short, topic-based technology training sessions that are delivered online in a webinar format. In these hour-long online workshops, you’ll learn a topic identified by KU IT Technology trainers and the KU community. To join the session, register using the button on the page. Basic Setup of a myCommunity Team Site: myCommunity Team Sites promise many new tools to promote team collaboration, including a OneNote digital notebook, document library, webpages, newsfeed, and more. In this Quick Learn, we'll demonstrate some of the most basic steps you will want to take to set up your team site. This will include tips and tricks, such as adding a list of site owners to your home page and adding visual clues to help your staff understand what site they are on. This session will be held online via Skype for Business. You may want to take note of the session URL, http://go.ku.edu/4gJJgy that you will use to join the session. The instructor will also send instructions on how to join the meeting the day prior.
